Detroit Michigan area foreclosures decrease 16 percent in March 2008

Great news from the great city of Detroit. According to the foreclosure rate in the metro Detroit Michigan area has decreased 16% in March of 2008. Foreclosure statistics continue to improve in the Metro Detroit area.

Glad to hear that news. I was born and raised around 7 mile and Schafer many many years ago. In fact Soopy Sales lived in the house behind me. I left about 40 years ago but still wish the city well.

David, that's great news! What might you attribute this decrease in foreclosures to?

Do you see it continuing to improve? Or, is this perhaps just a short term improvement with more market drops yet to come?
