Realcomp II Ltd. MLS has started offering mobile MLS service for use on cell phones. Read the article in the Detroit News.

Curious if your MLS offers such a service and how it has helped you? Has it made your life easier? Does it answer the questions buyers ask while on the road with them? Are there any limitations with your MLS's mobile solution? Do the pages load quickly? Has it made you a sale?

Dave, I have heard that other MLSs are offering it for free.  Still, I am happy that we finally have it.

I can get it on my TREO 650 from Supra for 22 bucks a month versus the $16.00 regular charge.

I've had it about 6 months now, used it a couple of times to look up prices of listings seen driving by with buyers.

We have it here, also available from Supra on my Treo.  It's been worth it just being able to answer questions about listings we go by en route to showings (you know, since we all hide listings from our buyers)

I have used the service  with Realcomp and really like it. I am also a member of Mi realsource  and do most of my business on the east side . Hopefully MCAR will  come up with something  similar in the future. Have you heard anything?

FYI, MCAR does not own MiRealsource. MiRealsource is owned by the local Brokers of both the "eastside" and "westside" of Metro Detroit.

MCAR is the Metropolitan Consolidated Association of REALTORS®.

MCAR owns one share out of 7 in Realcomp.
